Mitch Album creatively opened up The Timekeeper with a different style. We went through all different time periods all in a few pages, which was interesting to read. We first flashed forward and met the Father of Time. We then met characters that had trouble dealing with their time. It was amazing that in just a few minutes I was able to grasp several diverse perspectives of time. The dynamics and measures of time were presented in such a unique way. This format certainly helped us understand the novel's format for future reference. I especially love how Mitch Albom used adjectives to describe what time frame each character was from. This beginning was very effective for me.
